Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Turbo Tap Masters (the “App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play the App. By downloading or using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who we are
Turbo Tap Masters is a casual mobile game developed and published by Alex Baranov (individual developer, the “data controller” for the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR), publishing under the developer account associated with the bundle identifier com.justfighting.tapmaster. For any privacy question or request, contact us at:
- Email: support@turbotapmasters.com
- Website: https://turbotapmasters.com
2. Information we collect
We aim to collect the minimum data needed to run the game, sync your progress across devices, support multiplayer features, and keep the App free with ads. We do not collect your real name, postal address, phone number, or precise GPS location.
| Category | Examples | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Account & identity | A Sign in with Apple or Google account identifier, an anonymous device identifier, and the in-game nickname you choose. | To create your account, save your progress to the cloud, and let you sign back in. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email; we then receive only a private relay address. |
| Game data | Level progress, stars, coins and crystals balance, owned gear and gems, avatars, daily quests, achievements, and purchase status. | To save and restore your game and apply rewards you have earned. |
| Multiplayer / Duel data | Your nickname, equipped gear, level, and duel results / leaderboard score. | To match you against other players and display competitive leaderboards. This information is visible to other players you are matched with. |
| Purchase data | Records of in-app purchases and entitlements (processed via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play). | To grant purchased items and restore purchases. We never receive or store your full payment card details — these are handled directly by Apple or Google. |
| Usage & analytics | Events such as level start/complete, screens viewed, session start, app version, device model, OS version, language, and a coarse country / region. | To understand how the game is played, fix bugs, and improve balance and retention. |
| Advertising data | Advertising identifier (e.g. Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID), ad interactions, and SKAdNetwork attribution signals. | To show ads (including optional reward videos) that keep the game free. On iOS we request your permission via App Tracking Transparency before any tracking takes place. |
| Attribution / referrals | Install and deep-link attribution, referral codes, and promo codes you redeem. | To credit referral and promo rewards and understand where installs come from. |
| Integrity & anti-cheat data | Gameplay signals used to validate scores and results (for example duel results that exceed plausible limits), flagged alongside your account. | To detect and prevent cheating and to keep leaderboards and duels fair for all players. |
This website
Separately from the App, turbotapmasters.com uses Google Analytics in a cookieless configuration: consent for storage is denied by default, so nothing is written to your browser and you are not identified or recognised across visits. We receive only aggregate counts — page views, the country and referring source of a visit, and clicks on the store buttons. Because nothing is stored on your device, this site shows no cookie banner and sets no cookies.
3. Advertising consent (ATT and EEA/UK consent form)
On Apple devices we use the App Tracking Transparency framework. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies unless you grant permission through the system prompt. If you decline, the App still works and may show non-personalized ads. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we additionally ask for your consent through Google’s certified consent form (User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown. You can decline and still play the App; ads will then be non-personalized or limited. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the App’s settings.
4. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the game and its features.
- To save and synchronize your progress across your devices.
- To operate multiplayer duels, matchmaking, and leaderboards.
- To process and restore in-app purchases.
- To grant referral and promo-code rewards and prevent their abuse.
- To display ads and measure their performance.
- To detect, prevent, and address cheating, fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — creating and operating your account, saving and syncing progress, running multiplayer duels and leaderboards, and delivering purchases you make.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — personalized advertising and tracking, collected through the App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS) and Google’s consent form (EEA/UK/CH). You can withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 3.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — analytics to improve the game, showing non-personalized ads, securing the service, and detecting and preventing cheating, fraud, and abuse.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining records where required by tax, accounting, or other laws.
6. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the game work, and only as needed:
- Google — Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, and Google AdMob (advertising). See Firebase Privacy and Google Privacy Policy.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store in-app purchases. See Apple Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — purchase and subscription management. See RevenueCat Privacy.
- Branch — deep linking and install attribution for the referral program (if enabled). See Branch Privacy.
- Other players — your nickname, level, gear, and duel/leaderboard results are visible to players you compete with.
- Legal — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
7. Data retention
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. Aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights:
- Delete your account in-app: open Menu → Settings → Delete account. This removes your cloud account and associated game data. You can also request deletion at turbotapmasters.com/delete-account.
- Or contact us at support@turbotapmasters.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
- Ads: manage tracking via the iOS App Tracking Transparency setting, Google’s ad settings, or (in the EEA/UK/CH) the in-app consent form.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not “sell” personal information for money. However, the transmission of advertising identifiers and ad interaction data to our advertising partner (Google AdMob) for personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out of such sharing:
- On iOS, deny or revoke tracking permission (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) — we then do not share your advertising identifier for personalized ads.
- On Android, use Settings → Google → Ads to delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization.
- Or email us at support@turbotapmasters.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.
You also have the rights to know, correct, and delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a “Limit Use” right, and we do not knowingly share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
9. Children’s privacy
Turbo Tap Masters is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and access-controlled cloud infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country (for example in the European Union and the United States), where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework certifications held by our service providers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
