Vornax is a boss in Turbo Tap Masters, fought alone on level 36 of the Haunted biome. It has 5,000 HP and strikes every 3 seconds for 4 shields. A kill pays 1,270 coins and EXP and can drop Epic and Rare gear of the Haunted sets and the Vornax card (CRIT +5%).

The fight
Level 36 is a boss level: Vornax is the only target on the field. Every 3 seconds it strikes and takes 4 shields, and the round is lost when your shields run out. Your shields are your HP, which starts at 3 and grows by one every five player levels, plus the DEF on your gear and gems.
Compared with Frostgar on level 30, Vornax has 1.1 times the HP, strikes at the same pace and each strike takes 4 shields instead of 3.
Once beaten, the level can be replayed after a cooldown of 4 hours. A repeat kill pays the kill reward again and rolls all the loot below again.
The Haunted Epic set has four pieces, not three: Bonecrusher Flail is a second Epic weapon that trades some of Phantom Scythe's CRIT for DEF. Vornax's own card adds CRIT to whichever one you swing.

Vornax card
The Vornax card gives CRIT +5% and fits a weapon. It drops with a 2% chance per kill, and you only ever need one copy: a card is never lost, and moving it from one item to another in the forge is free. See all cards.
Vornax in the Boss Run
The Boss Run is a daily run through every boss back to back on one arena. Vornax is boss 9 of 20. There it has 34,000 HP and strikes every 3 seconds for 5 shields. Shields do not refill between bosses and there is no revive, so every shield you lose early is one you miss later.
