Chests
Chests are the steady income of Turbo Tap Masters: coins every time, plus crystals, gear or gems depending on the chest. Two of them open free on a timer.

How to open: free once every 24 hours, or right away for 100 crystals.
The gear item is one of the Common items below. The chance is per item, as a share of the chest's gear roll:

How to open: free once every 12 hours, or right away for 50 crystals.
The Loot Chest never contains gear.
Rare Chest
Inside: 3,000–8,000 coins, 30–100 crystals, one gear item.
How to open: 300 crystals, no timer.

How often can you open a chest in Turbo Tap Masters?
The Mystery Chest opens free every 24 hours and the Loot Chest every 12 hours. The Rare Chest has no timer: it costs 300 crystals each time.
Which chest gives the best gear?
The Rare Chest. Both gear chests draw from the same Common items, but the Mystery Chest favors low-tier ones and the Rare Chest favors high-tier ones.
Can chests drop Rare, Epic or Legendary gear?
No. Chests give Common gear only. Rare, Epic and Legendary gear never comes from a chest.
