Refining adds to DEF on armor and hats, one point per level up to +10. The other stats stay as they are.

How to get Bronze Bulwark
- Mortus: a 5% chance per kill to drop one random item of 6 from the Rare set.
- Drakozar: a 5% chance per kill to drop one random item of 6 from the Rare set.
- Forge: crafted from three Rare armor pieces, see the recipe below.
It sells back for 4,500 coins.
Bronze Bulwark in the forge
Any three Rare armor pieces make one Rare armor piece of your choice, from any biome whose boss you have beaten. The biome of the item you pick sets the price:

Salvaging Bronze Bulwark returns 6 steel and 3 mithril; a refined item returns more.

Like every armor piece, Bronze Bulwark can hold up to 3 gems in its sockets and one card: a DEF card.
Class bonus in duels
In ranked duels Bronze Bulwark gives an extra bonus to the class that wears it. It counts for your main class only, and only in duels.
